The studio
A greens department that thinks like a set builder
1001 Tér Kft has worked as Greens since 2010, out of Szentendre just north of Budapest. Led by Péter Dömötör, the crew scales from a two-person standby team to a full unit planting a location for weeks — whatever the schedule and the frame demand.
Most of our work is invisible by design. If nobody in the audience wonders how the forest got there, we did the job right.

What we do
Services
Set landscaping
Full greens builds from bare ground or bare stage: forests, gardens, hedgerows, parks, wild growth and everything between.
Plant hire & sourcing
Species-accurate planting for period and geography, sourced from nurseries across Hungary and shipped in at the size the shot needs.
Tree moving & rigging
Mature trees crated, craned and placed on location or inside soundstages, braced to survive wind machines and camera traffic.
Season change
Spring dressed in December, autumn in June. Leafing, defoliating, dry-out and greening to match the script, not the calendar.
On-set maintenance
A standby greens crew for the length of the shoot — watering, refreshing, repairing and re-dressing between takes.
Strike & restore
Everything comes out again. Locations returned to the state we found them in, plants back to the nursery or replanted.
How it runs
From script pages to strike
- 01
Script & recce
We read the pages with the production designer, walk the location and work out what has to grow, move or disappear.
- 02
Plan & budget
Plant lists, sourcing, transport, crew and schedule costed against the shooting order, with options at each level.
- 03
Build & dress
Ground prep, planting, rigging and detail dressing — finished to camera in the days before the unit arrives.
- 04
Standby & strike
Crew on set through the shoot, then a clean strike that leaves the location exactly as we found it.
